You could always tell June was troubled but she was the most energetic and entertaining sister. Bonnie's career never really took off. Drugs really destroy the lives of many entertainers 😒

The Pointer Sisters and LaBelle hit the world charts and my collection around the same time in the 70s. Both were produced (at one time) by Dave Rubenstein & Friends. "Dave" did not mess around or disappoint as a producer. He used top industry musicians, writers and arrangers and maximized the gifts of both girl groups. ( I enjoyed the 4 sisters' stuff WAY more than the trio.)

I was reading onika's book online and most of what she saying a good 90% of it is true, and she said her aunt Anita said that she was going to take care of her. And that she was going to be her Nana. Onika doesn't have to want for anything because her aunt Anita takes care of her. She has a very close relationship with her Aunt Anita. Anita seems like she's she's the level headed auntie that will help you out whenever she can. Because my auntie is like that my mother's sister.
