Old house pajama party in Detroit, MI!

For the first time ever, our one-room journey has a dress code: cozy Sunday pj's and fluffy slippers, required! Zip up your onesie pajamas and join Dakarai and Kamaria of @detroithoodstead for a quick spin around their perfectly peachy vintage bathroom. Or is it? As Kamaria explains, her initial take on the tile was peach and salmon. I might even call it blush ... but I'd be wrong! As @detroithoodstead dove into research for 1950s bathroom trends, theirs seemed reminiscent of the era-defining "Mamie pink," named after First Lady Mamie Eisenhower. So, presidential pink it is! Paired with a vintage sink and an original double-hung window that absolutely floods this petite room with light, and you've got an old house bathroom that just radiates with warmth and happiness (hence my obsession with it since @detroithoodstead first shared a glimpse).
