Hi again. I have watched this again as there is so much to take in. Very pleased to see the sketch painting of the Church by Eva Shirtcliffe, a very good friend of our family. My Grandad was a bell ringer and church warden at the church when Eva played the organ. My Dad was in the choir. Yes, so many memories. I see the canal, what about the tar works at Norwood, I remember that and seeing the canal empty before they filled it in and built houses on it. All such a shame.

My wifes maiden name was Tesh and most of her family was from the village, we lived opposite Eva my wife knew her well. We are in our seventis now so she will probably know most of the people you mentioned. We lived on High street above the school there for about 25 years after we got married before that my wife lived on the top of Ashley lane. I intend to do a video of Then and Now based on this one but easier said than done time wise. Take care Brian

Wow. Grew up in Killamarsh in the 70s, went to Spinkhill Primary school and then Eckington. Dr Lip was my doctor, lol.
