This is what happens when you don't actually fully complete the main games in chronological or release order,l - or check the wiki, or the guidebooks, or the timeline videos, or the official explanation of events from SE. It also doesn't help that he waited till the last minute to do BBS and, again, didn't even finish. If he did, he'd have known that he never unlocked/watched the "secret episode" all he did was KZbin the Final episode. Blank Points, the secret episode of BBS, actually takes place after 0.2 A Fragmentary Passage.

Quick Correction. 0.2 Takes place after Aqua falls into the RoD in BBS but before the true secret of BBS called Blank Points - which is the final playable episode. Aqua meeting Asem the Wise actually occurs after the events of KH2.

You wouldn’t know this because you didn’t get the secret ending of BBS, but this game completely retcons and ruins the most emotional scene in the secret ending (Blank Points) of that game, where Ansem meets Aqua in the Dark Margin and tells her that Sora became a key blade weilder and is now fighting the heartless which causes her to cry tears of joy. Making it so that she already knew about Sora because Mickey told her is a huge disservice to that scene imo TL;DR this game retcons a scene I liked from BBS and it triggered me

The older games are VERY guilty of this and its a big reason why I dont like 3D. But KH3 not only isn't as bad with its physics it also has a bunch of new abilities in air to make it less of a pain, air block, air slide, doubleflight, lots of moves so you can still have defensive control even in air.

That name is such a mouthful, I just call this game Kingdom Hearts Ground Zeroes instead, because it's a prologue to Kingdom Hearts 3 in the same way that Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeroes was a prologue to Metal Gear Solid 5.
