Discovery Rules!! Those cars are extremely underrated. With a suspension kit and good tires you can go pretty much anywhere. Regarding brakes there are adapting plates to mount the front calipers on the back and that will give 10X more confidence in steep hills

Yes they do. Underneath they are the same car as a Defender so they can become very capable. Thanks for the recommendation although I think my problem is a weak brake booster. The brakes are weaker than other Discos I have driven

Completely agree ! Old land rovers rule! And I also agree on the brakes being terrible I’m looking at making mine better but I’m not sure how yet

I don't know anything about landrovers but I upgraded the brake booster on my 79 series landcruiser and it made a massive difference

If you want to wrench it after every run. How can a vehicle be so poorly engineered? Frankly it’s a joke that so many rêver this heinous car manufacturer! Their vehicles are utter crap! Buy a Toyota and stop the feigning nonsense over this useless English March

I have a Toyota. It currently sits completely pulled apart because the suspension has had it. All cars have weaknesses and strengths. People who have zero experience will always say a single brand is best. No brand is best, they all have their pros and cons. It depends on usage.

@@TheUntraveledPath i'm so sick and tired of the toyota circle jerk that goes on online, the internet would make you believe that toyota is God's gift to this earth when in reality it's not, toyotas break down too it's all in the maintenance, my disco hasn't had much of that yet is still perfectly reliable... People should stop jerking companies off and instead be happy with the variety of brands and models out there, world would be a hell of a lot more boring if all you ever saw was toyota...
