Now there is a war going on in my motherland. The war has changed all our peaceful lives. Ukraine is fighting russian fascists who are killing children and destroying peaceful cities. It would be helpful for those who might not know what the gelatin water soak is for to explain what this does to leather for texture and flexibility.

Very well ll done. 👍 A slight improvement would be to make a cream by mixing light mineral oil and paraffin wax. Use a double boiler, or just two pans inside each other, to heat the oil and melt the wax in it. You could try different proportions of wax to oil. Then apply the cream to the leather and it will absorb in. Apply to the top surface and underneath. All the best. ❤️🇺🇦🇬🇧

it is very difficult to believe that the ugly saddle from the beginning of the first part is the same leather used in this video. Something happened in the meantine and no explanation was provided. Otherwise, cool video.

Wow...and to think I almost tossed my old ties...great idea to restore my mother's old Brooks saddle using an ugly tie she gave me that I never have worn. :)
