This is why I despair at the internet now - “Clapton sucks, is overrated, boring, worst player ever…” this cover is the counter argument…. He gives us Tone, taste, phrasing, musicality and memorable, decades enduring guitar parts. I can obviously hear SRV and Mayer (2 of my faves) but the rest is all Clapton (even the Mayer parts are mostly Clapton interpretations). A truly fantastic Job Sean..

I’m still looking forward to the day I can purchase some of his music. You can practice all you want but there’s something to say about having a natural gift, and he has it.
