I live in Wisconsin and decided to play one last round before our course closed for the season. Temp was 42 and felt like 35 with a little breeze. I am 80 yrs old and a 20 handicapper. I decided to play the round like OMP. I played from the forward tees. All my drives and fairway woods were low but very straight. I got on the par 3's in regulation and parred them. I used OMP's putting stroke and got close to the pin. On the par 4's and 5's I got on in regulation once and parred it. I could only play 9 holes because of the fading light. I shot a 42 with 4 pars 5 bogeys. This round changed how I will play in the future. No shots in the trees or water. Good course management and taking enough club for the shot. Will work on better chipping and putting. Very glad I watched a Golfmate video before the round!

I have never meet pat but he has change my life and I thank you. I was very sic and had to gave life saving transplant ,after the teabsplant I could not hit the ball 100 yds and quit playing golf. Always good to see you on the course OMP!!. I thought Liam had lost the match with whatever he called that pitch over the bunker....that barely went 6 feet! But his new putter is on fire...and he saved the match with an excellent par putt! Take care of yourself Pat...I am hoping the doctor will let me play in a couple of months...since I am hoping my fractured hip will be better by then! Us folks in Texas aren't used to temperatures in -17° C to -28°C ! I fell on the ice and fractured my left hip on February19th...and just a few days ago my doctor said I could stop using my crutches! I have my cane next to me, and strict orders to never go outside again during fridged temperatures!!

OMP is just like my father. It reminds me of him each time I watch him. He played to his strengths and shot his age from 74 to 85. He passed in 2019 and he loved the game so much. OMP is a wonderful man and I appreciate you having him show us how golf should be played.
