This is a simplified tutorial on Gaia gps. No need for any other app. This will show you old locations, all you have to do is drive to them, and get permission of course! with this app you get over 300 map layovers 2 of which are 1900 and 1930. This has the capability of seeing an old location on a map, marking it with a way point and adjusting the opacity to see either a topo map or a satellite map to see exactly where the location is currently. In my opinion this is the best tool for metal detectorists who are looking to do research. I would highly recomend this app for the beginner or the more experienced detectorist.
