Shoro Sushi started out as a sushi restaurant, and was established in 1924 at its current location as Shoro Sushi.
At the time, the owner's wife served omelettes at the storefront, which became popular and led to the transition to an omelette shop.
Stubborn adherence to taste and ingredients is a tradition of Shoro that has been passed down from generation to generation.
At the time of the opening, many people were hungry for the sweetness of sugar due to the rationing system, and sweet egg omelets with plenty of sugar were the mainstream. However, at Shoro, on the contrary, the sweetness was suppressed and a refreshing aftertaste was aimed for, establishing a flavorful egg omelet that did not need soy sauce to be added.
