In her old age she realised it's all black people caring for her and being with her whilst her own family and people she invested in are not there.

I agree with that but from the day she came from ; they had housekeepers babysitters nannies Cooks a combination of all she's about 90 so it ain't no strange thing that black people have taken care of the household of white people especially the females in the 30s 40s and 50s some black males.

I believe she's being honest because a black person seems to be her care giver... She's elderly and may need 24 hour care. And if she's in a convalescent home she probably has nothing to do and time on her hands so she may sit back and reflect over her life. What could I have done different?... Be kinder.

Some still don't like u until they understand their kids aren't going to bath them, change, mouth care, bed changes, clothes washed, feed them, and making their favorite drinks! I would do their nails take them for nice long walks. In their kids or family may stop by 1 every 6 mnths never calling on holidays or bday. In we try to make it so special for them even if we don't have much. Some may call us names don't want us to touch them but in the end most say sorry and if they don't. You keep on doing ur job. Every now in then their kids or grandkids may stop by. For 10mins. Asking for money! I drive them to the bank, grocery store, pharmacy, ice cream shop and I do gain wisdom!

She really didn't say anything. She didn't say what she wished she understood about black people. Maybe if she elaborated more the answer could have been horrible. She could have said she wished she understood why black people couldn't just try harder to conform to her ilk's ways. I no longer give these people the benefits of the doubt that they will show decency towards black people. They have continued to show their capacity for cruelty every time I think they will change their hatred for black people.

I regret quitting school and not becoming a Dermatologist. Also having my three kids with two sick women, and not having Christ in my life at an early age! But even so, I do well! I look back on how fortunate I was to have common sense to not get on drugs (which was all around me), or commit crimes and all of that kinda mess! I drive trucks, and I'm actually contemplating buying a tractor trailer for myself. For a person with only an 8th grade education (on paper), I didn't do too bad! I'm an autodidact. "The capacity of the human mind is only limited by the determination of its owner to improve it". I'm definitely not a victim or support victimhood. I believe that education and God is key to success in whatever you do!! Besides, there's too much information out there now to be idiots! Being dumb or uneducated is a choice.

Thing is though, Hollywood is largely responsible for this. They scouted, impoverished gangsters, amd glorified them. A big part of how this all came to be is because of our government and the forces working against the black communities. Nowadays, it's a culture to them in a lot of areas still. Violence, lack of sympathy, and hatred towards one another. That's what's caused a lot of the animosity and problems for them.

A lot of it has to do with how black communities are today. That's because Hollywood went and made gangsters famous, it gave young black men and children the wrong impressions and only further incited the decline of several communities. It's not like that everywhere and I like to think most black people don't come from that.

There comes a time in one’s life in or outside the church that, redemption is necessary for spiritual growth and to move forward. Our past actions and or in actions, of the unfairness done by us to others unfairly and we stand by and did nothing to remedy the situation.
