The days when Kilmarnock buildings had style. Had to laugh at the fact one of the photos was from the 1970’s, when I was a kid there. I really wish you could just jump into those photos for a while to have a look around Killie from those days. Thanks for doing this and putting it all together. I did notice a couple of things, at 0:49 the photo is Glencairn square not the Dick Institute, at 1:09 Bank place looks like 1889, not 1989……unless my 1989 memories are playing up on me and we DID dress like that then…..Brilliant to see Killie through the ages and I appreciate the work that goes into it all.

Stumbled across your videos from old Kilmarnock, amazing! In this video there's a slide from Bank place but I don't think it was from 1989, perhaps 1889 maybe? :P amazing though, Thank you for these.

Just like old Irvine, most of the old Kilmarnock destroyed for a shopping centre. Surprised there's no pictures of the old Glenfield and Kennedy. I used to work there and so did my great grandfather (both of us fitter/ turners)

Why the rush running through them? Hardly got time to look at them

Video running far to fast. Old pictures should be savoured and the details examined.
