A friend gave me the Snow White set with no packaging. The back of the pins have the copywrite Disney and under that it says Taiwan. Thanks for showing this collection. We didn’t know anything about this set.

Thanks for posting....love the old pins, especially "The Hunchback of Notre Dame." Collecting the old, rare and less popular series is really what interests me the most. Currently, I'm on the hunt for a silver Mr Toad pin that comes in a round silver tin. Not sure on the date. Have to do a little more research.

I love all of the older pin sets! I have the 101 Dalmatians tin pin set and The Rescuers. They are so cool and really tiny. Even though they are small in stature they are still huge in artistic beauty. Especially the backing cards in the tins, they are gorgeous. It seems like after the pin trading started to hit the parks that the pins started to get bigger and bigger. Did this have to do with the switch over from Taiwan to China? I wondered if there are any old pre- millennium jumbo pins? Or did they only appear after the pin trading hit the parks? That will be fun to investigate. Thanks again for the fun video! I always love learning new info about our pins.

Thanks for the comment! I'm honestly not sure why the switch happened from Taiwan to China, maybe it did have to do with production increases. I haven't seen any old jumbo pins either! Seems like a Pin Trading thing.

Can someone help me please I have a very rare Disney pin I bought from a flea market a few years ago with only 100 copies made. It's a Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs pin and it has the title on the bottom and above the title are cutouts of the 7 Dwarf's heads. When I was 10 years old I started pin trading and collecting in January of 2000. I was able to obtain half of the Snow White set from cast members. Some asshole pin trader traded me a fake Grumpy (which was supposedly the rarest of the set). What adult does that? I mean, seriously. - still bitter - Anyway, I love the series and would like to finish it one day. Missing Snow White, real Grumpy, Dopey, and Happy.
