I first heard this song in Zimbabwe and still have the vinyl record. It inspired me to visit Negril when I went to Jamaica in 2015! I made it to Rick's Cafe!

Heard this song playing in the airport.montego bay ,on our way back home to the u. k.Iloved it so did my wife.even our baby daughter started swaying to and thro. so i went in the music shop in the airport,it was like an aladins cave to me,full of sweet reggae.Ibought the c.d. and a few others ,one day Iwill go back.

You would have to be in Negril, from Negril those days to really understand the vibe of this song. We all know who Tyrone wrote this song about. Sitting down and listening to Tyrone just singing all day no music just playing drums on our table in Kool Brown was a joy. Gone too soon my friend. Love me some Tyrone Taylor.

In the 70,s we would call this " corner music ". You would find a corner in the room and dance close to your partner. Lots of good memories.

+Interruptor A little imagination is needed , there are also recesses in rooms and in cellars there are usually more than one room. The song became popular because of the singer not the room.

First heard this song at the Winston Churchill Reggae Club in Montego Bay in 1992 while on vacation. My woman and I had to jump into a rental and head to Negril right away. Its been on replay ever since.
