Puerto Rico undisputedly is the most modern country in the Caribbean. I was amazed to see how well developed its 78 Cities were. I had a magnificent experience, and a great time vacationing there.

Beautiful video. At 20:08, that house with yellow door is the narrowest home in Puerto Rico . You can stretch you arms and be able to touch both walls. Before Pandemic,the plans were to turn it into Air B &B.

Yes and if you look over the veranda that building down there used to be a jail. A little further down in front of the park there used to be a guest house with a gay club upstairs (La Vista). Cars all over the place in those days. Very colorful place at the time. So much has changed.

When you compare Havana with San Juan wow what a big difference. San Juan is cleaner, well kept, and entrepreneurship is encouraged. It's capitalism vs socialsim the vast majority of people, if they had a choice between these two capitals they would chose San Juan. Both cities are beautiful, but San Juan is well maintained and cleaner.

@@MooMooAway Never lived there but flew four of five times a year. Fridays the streets were filled with the party people. Many, many clubs in the area then. It was complete heaven. This was in the early Seventies.

Yeah, the antiguo casino was a bank in the movie, and in 4:26 the house with that green thing on it was a Hotel where banderas sit and wait until stallone step out the bank so he can shoot him. In the 90‘s there was another floor on that Building, don‘t know why they tore it off. But it‘s so iconic for me to See that filmings from you👍

Nope, Puerto Rico is not one of those countries, its not even its own country since its an American territory. Its really just like a different state with its own culture (A Touch of Spain) . No annoying people running after you 🤣

Do you know that Juan Ponce De Leon was the Governor of Puerto Rico, and he made an expedition, and he discovered Florida and then returned to Puerto Rico and from Puerto Rico to Spain and the Queen gave him instruction and to colonize Florida, but all the funding for the colonization of Florida was from The Puerto Rican economy and the Tanios and women's and children and animals that was transported to Florida and Juan Ponce De Leon was killed in Florida by an Indian and later The U.S. sprong into action against Spain and the rest is history. Not only Puerto Rico lost its independence but also it lost Florida. to the U.S.

I used to hang out there during the 70's There clubs all over the place. I understand that it is quite quiet now at night. There Disco's everywhere. The buses used to end at the Plaza Colon. There where people everywhere. I miss Old San Juan. I don't even know where my friends have gone now. So many years ago. I did enjoy the video. So many changes.
