I remember watching him in Venice in the late 80s training in the pit. It motivated me and I started to train in there. I was in my late teens. Craig was in his late 30s. He was massive and a great motivation 👏 👍 💪. I always used visualization when watching huge guys train to get massive myself. 💪

@@paulbunyan9436 so, you have one of the greatest physiques of all time yet work in the fields or wherever the hell else you said. Nevermind the fact if that were the case, you would be getting paid for your physique. No let's just go work in the fields . I think alot of people don't have a clue what they are talking about when it comes to bodybuilding. And that's quite evident when you see people "train" in the gym. You have people use two or three different brand weight plates on the same bar, how the hell can you train for aesthetics when you can't even match weight plates.

@@tamastoth6256 That's the problem with body building as a pageant because it isn't a sport. It's 100% subjective and relies soley on judges who are old and don't know what they're actually judging. Because if we are going off symmetry, Arnold's upper body was disproportionate massively in comparison to someone like Robbie Robinson or Frank Zane. Problem was Arnold was bigger and it was suggested he win to grow the popularity of the IFBB but if we are talking todays standards, Craig Monson mops the floor with Arnold.

I'd imagine before youtube many unknown bodybuilders can to light AFTER their 50's ect. I'm not surprised. Only reason we know of Arnold and Ronnie is there immense success in BB and the fact that arnold was also a movie star. I question many other "big guys" out there. Like, if you're 350lbs.. ect.. why aren't they in the NFL playing at linemen? Offense or Defense.. likely do to cardio since the bigger you are, the quicker you can tired. Assuming they aren't all in peak cardio shape. Same scenario as Kali Muscle, he wasn't known until he was on tube with mass advice. Roids or not the dude is beast huge. But we could talk about mass monsters all day.

The Weider Brothers marketed Body Building around Arnold Schwarzenegger as Arnold had the personality and very much made Arnold the Legend he became. That's probably why there are other lesser known Body Builders that had better physiques then Arnold, but not the personality that Arnold has that the Weider Brothers made their fortune from and gave Body Building the kick it got to become what it is today. Craig Monson had a Magnificent Physique as did a number of lesser known Body Builders.

I believe he was in his Early 40s back then I was 17 years old. Working out at the Chester YMCA This man was a monster. He left an impression in my mind at 64 years old. I left Pennsylvania and moved to Florida when I was 24 went back to Pennsylvania a few years later to visit ran in a big Fred. I was juiced up 6’3”275 pounds I felt pretty massive until I ran into big Fred this is my true story big Fred I still think about him thought I’d share this with you gentleman big Fred was a black man and I was a slender white kid when I met him he gave me great inspiration back in the day to train I enjoyed your video

Mr.Craig Monson may have my favorite physique ever for a giant man. The way he was what I call "knotted up" and vascular while having such a small tight waist and well defined abs to go with those massive arms is truly impressive. I still believe that the classic bodybuilders are far superior to the guys now. The proportions and profile on the muscle is just better to me. Monson, Arnold, Sergio Oliva Sr., those types of guys just had that ideal freakish type of physique and they looked as if they could still be athletes to some degree. These guys now are just muscular and obese at the same type and stiff looking. They waddle like penguins when they walk 😂.

He went to prison for killing someone breaking into his mother house. Also he was in a gang called the Avenues which basically motivated Raymond Washington to create the CRIPS. His reputation hurt his chances.

Many were bigger than Arnold! So what! Arnold was pure perfection! The man stopped at 7 titles! Could have gone further with an untouchable record if he wanted to!

It Wasn't Mr Monson's 23" Arms. It Was The Mass And Extreme Density Of His Physique. Grainy, Thick, Vascular Musculature. It Was The Look That Dorian Made Famous And Ronnie Took To The Extreme 🤷🏿‍♂️.

Pray, Dear Lord Jesus Christ, I trust in you and your shed blood on the cross only to go to heaven, I believe you were buried, and came alive from the dead. Please come into my heart and forgive me for all my sins, Amen. Did you pray this?
