Lowell Fulson was one of those truly great R&B pioneers who were enormously influential on the great stars of the genre while being themselves often overlooked and underappreciated. If you've ever wondered who wrote "Tramp", a hit for Otis Redding and Carla Thomas, it was Lowell Fulson!

Lowell Fulson deserves more love than he tends to get. Great lesson, Damian.

Love your lessons but especially love how you took a break a couple weeks back and marveled at communing with nature camping at the state park with the family and solitude with nature. Great message, D.B.!!

Thank you, good sir! Another great lesson from the best guitar teacher on KZbin! And Lowell Fulson is tremendously underrated as a guitarist. He was one of the greatest.

You don't need the intro in the first 5 seconds. Just go right into the cool lick 😉

if I came to Florida for 4 weeks you could give me rockabilly guitar lessons 5 days a week, at least 3 hours a day? a real full immersion course to see if I can get to play something decently or should I flush my guitar down the toilet...! of course i would pay you! for me it would be the study-holiday I always wanted to take!
