They were from Boston not Florida. Jordan Knight is singing lead. Step 1: Danny Wood (Health Conscious Break Dancer); Step 2: Donnie Wahlberg (Bad Boy on Motorcycle - Blue Bloods - Ransom/The Sixth Sense/Saw 2-4/Zookeeper, Band Of Brothers...Mark Wahlberg's older brother); Step 3: Jordan Knight (Diverse talents with a killer falsetto); Step 4: Joey McIntyre (Youngest member with musical stage cred); Step 5: Jonathan Knight (Jordan's older shy brother who came out 10 years ago). They revitalized their band career in 2009 with more albums, videos, Twitter, and cruises among other events. They are definitely better than 'Nsync, Backstreet Boys or BTS.

New Kids On The Block are from Boston. Backstreet Boys and Nsync are from Florida. I think it's neat you're teaching them about the music from the 80's/90's. Music when I was a kid, is far different from music now. It's a lot more wholesome, I think it's great for this generation to get a peek at what we grew up with.
@isleeptillnoon52564 жыл бұрын
Omg this takes me back to when I was 12. New Kids was the last boyband I was a fan of till I became an Army with BTS. You guys are great. I love how you analyse what you're reacting to, so much more substance and depth compared to the majority of reactors, so please don't be too concerned if you think your videos are too long...it's quality. The only thing I have to quibble about is that it's often hard to hear what you guys are saying when the music is on.

New Kids on the Block they are the ones that actually started the boy band craze they were boy bands before them, but they were the ones that made the whole genre of kid/teenage boy bands. Only Jackson 5 and New Edition were before them, but New Kids on the Block were the ones that actually made boy bands popular and they made it a thing before it was a thing.

NKOTB is the last boy band I was a fan of, and I think they're a huge part of why the biggest group of BTS fans are 40+. Kpop emerged in the 90's and they took the concept and honed it. The CEO of BigHit spent years in the industry and took all of his knowledge and started his own company with another formula adaptation (more social media freedom and mental health counselors) and formed BTS. BTS are a beautiful, polished evolution of NKOTB that Gen Xers can't help but adore them. Most of us were broke teenagers copying each others VHS tapes of concerts and tearing out pages of teen magazines to cover our walls. Decades later we're making up for what we didn't get then and indulging ourselves, making us the biggest demographic of ARMY. When you pointed out the Sprinkler it brought back memories the same way watching Suga and RM do the Kid 'n Play on the Dynamite. FYI - They're doing a live streaming concert on Oct 10 & 11th.

i am in my late 30s and i was a huge new kids fan too. i finally got to see them with bsb a few years ago and had the most amazing time. i liked the odd boy group in between (im mainly an alternative and alt rock fan i suppose) but nothing like how i loved them and well nothing on earth compares to how much i love bts 😆. i would just like to add to your introduction here what i think is an important part of what makes bts, which is that they are rooted in hip hop and the group was built around underground rappers and producers. i think it’s important to point out because it differentiated them from a lot of their peers (though the first kpop group was also rap heavy, and a rap verse is v common in kpop, with bts it is the foundation of much of their music) and had a huge influence in their sound and the sincerity of their music. obviously the unique vocalists are essential to bts’ music and sound and performance and irreplaceable, i just think it’s something that is strikingly different about them.

Step one -"we could have lots of fun," that is from Danny Wood- he didn't sing that much, but he has a wonderful deep voice and he always saying the bass vocals. His voice is naturally deep and always has been. That's just unique to him, so it's not "made" to sound like that it just naturally sounds like that. 9:12- 9:31 And every song that Danny would have sings is a deep voice like that.

I enjoy watching you and your dad’s videos. I like how you are looking at old school groups and their evolution. You mentioned Jon Cena, he is a huge BTS fanboy and BTS are Jon Cena fans. Jimmy Fallon promised to help them meet. Next week (9/28) is BTS’s Tonight Show take over where they will have a unique performance each night. Jon is scheduled to be a guest on 9/29, so though virtually, they will finally get to meet. Also, you may know this but today, BTS announced that their new album named BE will be released on 11/20. Two days before the American Music Awards. It’s possible that the debut performance of the lead song will be during during the awards show. Again... thanks for your channel

The New Kids pre date the Florida boy bands. They were created in Boston by the producer of New Edition. Actually, the guy who created and defrauded the Florida boy bands was a travel booking agent for the New Kids who saw how much the band made in merchandising, ticket and album sales and decided he could make money creating similar acts.
