Nkotb is my first boy band crush. Still go to their concerts. They were created by Maurice Star. The same guy that put New Edition together. They are from Boston. Mark Wahlberg is in the video holding the basketball. Guy on motorcycle is his brother Donnie and is also an actor. He's on Blue Bloods tv series. He helped Mark get started in entertainment.

You should see New Kids On The Block now. They are all in their 50's. They still perform live. Donnie Walberg is a lead actor on Blue Bloods. He plays Danny on the show, but in the early 90s, he was a member of NKOTB.

My favorite boyband! This song came out in 1990....the group was formed back in 1986....they were pretty big in the late 80's and early 90's. They split up in 94 and did their own thing for awhile...and reunited in 2008 and are still together and touring. I saw them in concert back in 2019 and again last year. This came out in Spring 1990. 5 members: Danny Wood (Step 1), Donnie Wahlberg (Step 2-lead vocals / rapper), Jordan Knight (Step 3-lead vocals on most tracks), Joe McIntyre (Step 4-lead vocals), and Jonathan Knight (Step 5). They had the same producer as New Edition-Maurice Starr. Their 1st run a a group was from ‘84-‘94. They reunited in ‘08 and are touring to this day.

This was my band I grew up with back in Boston where I'm from. My sister was dating Danny back in the lates 80's and early 90's and I got to be around them a decent amount of times. Went to 7 of their concerts for free thanks to my sister

They were my childhood in the 90's. They were our version of what N'Sync and The Backstreet Boys were in the early 2000's. Just as huge too. Every girl in school had all their merch on. The t-shirts, backpacks, pencils. Anything NKOTB had, you had to get it. They were so popular and still are. They're also pretty tight with New Edition, reason they have a bit of a hip hop vibe.

Spot on Jack! Late 80s early 90s. They (IMO) started the boy band phase of the 90s (i.e. BSB & Nsync). All the girls loved them. Everyone had their favorite (Joey McIntyre was it for me). All the guys hated them. LOL HS boys, ya know how insecure that time is. lol I hope they all look back now and laugh.

Yeah, you can hear a new jack swing because both NE AND NKOB were both produced by the same guy, Maurice Starr. In fact, Starr purposely looked for white kids that could sing and dance. BTW, at the time "Step by Step," was out, Mark Wahlberg was known as "MARKIE MARK." He had a backup band known as,"THE FUNKY BUNCH." And they had a track out called, "Good Vibrations."😂

Another classic group. I remember when they first came out the scene Girls would go crazy for Nkotb. Even came out with nkotb dolls & there own cartoon. I remember them days. Boy bands get a bad rep - but New Kids, Backstreet Boys, 98 degrees, and NSYNC all work very hard of their music and produce some amazing songs with fantastic harmonies. Their choreography is amazing as well. Huge New Kids fan - and I was excited to see this by one of my favourite reactors :) Cheers from Canada. BTW Jordan (lead singer on this) - and Donnie with the apple do most of the leads. Jordan and Jonathan (who did Step 5) are brothers.

NKOTB r the shit, if u noticed The A-list actor Mark Whalberg in there towards the end, his brother is 1 of the members he's the 1 on the bike, also no they r not twins but r brothers...they have a hip hip vibe because of the producer Maurice star originally wanted them to be white kids whondo hip hop but no one would accept them until one guy in Florida played one song "please don't go girl" on his station and the phones lit up, that's when they realized they wernt hip hop they were pop and made the change ..and the rest is history ❤
