ummm let's not be disingenuous. How many black churches in 2024 you see doing this??? It's mostly a LED & light show. Even the ones that don't have those things aren't singing these kind of songs for the most part. Churches don't have red hymnbooks anymore so congregations don't know hymns coherently, let alone ole meter hymns like "A charge to keep I have" etc.

Praise teams has taken the place of Deacons singing songs and hymns in the church nowadays.... back in the day it was very common to hear this type of church. On many cases Praise teams has even replaced choirs... just different. That's why this style of service is considered old school church!
