Colorado isn't called "the sunshine state" - Florida is. Although Colorado should be since we technically have more days of sun than any other state (apron 300 days a year). Most people dont know that.

I get super happy when you know the actors, even just by previous roles. I got my late dad to watch this and he loved Blue also! I think that he wouldn't have minded going out like Blue did. One of the last things that he was able to say before he died was, "I can see Blue and he looks glorious!" I almost peed from laughing! My dad was older than Blue, which made that even funnier.

Mitch's two co-workers that wanted in the fraternity are well known in their own rights. Matt Walsh is a founding member of the UCB, and is in many things, but probably most recognized for Veep, and Artie Lange is a comedian, was on Howard Stern's terrestrial and satellite radio shows, and you'd recognize him as the store Santa from Elf that gets into a fight with Buddy.

These actors were known as The Frat Pack at the time, they appeared in a lot of films together (also with Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller). Some great examples: The Wedding Crashers, Starsky & Hutch, Zoolander, The Wendell Baker Story, etc.

I really love the part where Will Ferrell accidentally shoots the tranquilizer on to himself and another part where Will Ferrell threatens the old lady if she tells anyone about this but is completely kidding. They are really hilarious 🤣🤣🤣

I know I’m late for this reaction. The main character walking into the threesome in the first scene is Luke Wilson. He’s the brother of Owen Wilson, who you’ll probably be more familiar with. Off the top of my head, the only other movie I can recall seeing him in was Vacancy. Side note, the Dean blackmailing the group is Jeremy Piven. He’s been in tons of things like Smokin’ Aces, Chasing Liberty, Scary Movie 3, Entourage (series and movie) and you saw him as a pilot in Black Hawk Down. Not the most recognizable actor, I know.

Swingers was THE modern Godfather of the buddy comedy. Can’t believe everyone isn’t reacting to it, and no one suggests it. Nice job. For a moment in time in the 90s, Swingers was THE quotable comedy everyone was talking about. At least in LA, where it’s set, and I lived. Used to go party at The Derby. The stereotypes in that movie are SO spot on for that time and place. You’re so money, baby, and you don’t even know it!

I like that for how zany this movie is, it's not really that far-fetched. It's only fetched. I don't think that something that works but I'm going to say it anyway. What I mean by that is that I've known people like this. I am people like this. This isn't one hundred percent reasonable, but it's not all that unreasonable. Great reaction as always, and I'm pretty sure recognizing six people is a new personal best for you. Nicely done!

- Released in 2003, and directed by Todd Phillips, who also did The Hangover. - Luke Wilson (Mitch) is the older brother of Owen Wilson, who was Oscar in Armageddon (the cowboy astronaut with all the parking tickets). - At the age of 84, Patrick Cranshaw earned a certain pop culture status for playing the role of Blue. He passed away two years later in 2005. - Todd Phillips bribed Snoop Dogg into appearing in this film; Snoop Dogg wanted to play Huggy Bear in a film adaptation of the TV show "Starsky and Hutch," which Todd Phillips directed a year later. Snoop Dogg got the Huggy Bear role as a result of this film. - Vince Vaughn wasn't originally the producers' first choice; while this role made him into a comedy icon for a few years, he had been more of a dramatic actor to that point and the crew wasn't sure if he could pull it off. - If you read the Greek letters on the fraternity, it reads as "L-E-O," or Lambda Epsilon Omega; some refer to the fraternity as "Lame-O" because of this. - Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson later did another "Frat Pack" film, Wedding Crashers, two years later, which used the same church seen for Frank's wedding. - There were talks about a sequel, but both Will Ferrell and Vince Vaughn passed on it, because it would have had them re-create much of the plot of this movie.
