Fuel washed cylinders, I have a mint 390t but she has never been right since the cat shorted the starter and left it running all night at 800rpm, nothing major just lost a pit of power and blows oil out of breather, will get around to doing rings and liners when I get a weekend free

A good work out on a Dyno or slurry pump usually deglazes the bore's but if tension gone in ring's it's the other option!😥

Seen alot of engine rebuilds ruined by not changing the most important part, the radiator! People fix the problem but not the cause of it. Are they standard pistons or oversized. If you could get some engineer with a boring bar he could give it a run and oversize the piston's! Honing out is tricky as you can cause ovality and she'll blow like a train down words!😭

I'm not too clued up on the 40 series so I can't offer much help but if you were looking for a place to get the radiator recored and modified for better cooling I would recommend Abbey radiators in Limerick. Gentleman to deal with and quality of the work is brilliant. He modified the 7810 one for me, replaced the original core with 4 lines of tubes up to one with 5 rows of tubes and special louvred fins. It put out 140 on the dyno and kept itself cool so I was right happy with that. He'll fix or make new oil coolers or anything for you as well if needed.

Great video. I would lift the floor panel remove right wheeland check the wiring because of the heat made by NH transmission can cause the wiring to go hard and crack leading to gear issues on SLE . Again great video
