I love skating the reissue decks to re-live my younger years, I can do more on a popsicle but the 80s style boards are super fun and bring a different feeling to the skating

I’m 46 years old and want nothing to do with a popsicle stick ,doesn’t even feel like a Skateboard to me. I also could care less if I can’t do technical flips.Poser at 46 and still going strong 💪🏼

Yeah, it’s all one clip. I just turned the camera and talk. I just threw some random clips on there. I probably could’ve been more intentional about the clips but I’m trying to get videos out as fast as possible. It seems like the only way to succeed on KZbin is to put out as much content as possible. If you work too hard on one video it’s probably not gonna go anywhere.

I have moved to shaped boards. A nice in-between old school and popsicle. I ride an 8.75 flat nose All I Need board. It is my go to shape.

Funny that the Per Wellinder graphic was originally a freestyle deck, so a tiny popsicle shape.

oh, i didn't even know there was a street model of it originally. I guess I led a sheltered life in a very small community of skaters on the north shore of Lake Superior....

And really, the nose and tail of the freestyle Welinder was rather square for super stable rail tricks. The Mullen, Rocco, Don Brown, Bob Schmelzer, and some other pro freestyle models has the nose and tails a bit rounded to flip from rail tricks.
