Great job! I appreciate your method. No extra chat, just down to business with clear concise explanations. The presentation is effective as well. I feel like a friend was teaching me from across the game table.

Thanks Joe! I haven't played this in a couple years so when it came time to play it again, your videos alone jogged my memory and I was able to play it again immediately.

Great Job Joe! I love this game. You did new players a valuable service with your "how-to". Your videos along with following along with the rulebook will get new players doing battle in no time. I'm guessing you have plans for showing off some gameplay with at least a battle or two. I look forward to watching them if you do. Keep up the good work and thanks.

Thanks, ModDevelopers. I had been out for so long that now I have a long line of games for which I will do, what I call, "Preview" videos. These are about 15-minutes long informative videos. I'm working right now of the first one, but I don't want to give spoilers. Hope you like these, too.

So many videos like this are rambling nonsense. YOU are setting the standard for a quality presentation. Thanks for your concise, quick and effective instruction on this game! Great Job!

Great videos! I just ordered vol.2 and the airborne expansion today. After watching your videos I feel as if I got the rules in hand! Good job Joe, you either were a teacher or should have been! Looking forward to playing these games! They appear to be an easier and cleaner form of classic SL! Thanks!

I had a quick question regarding the 31:00 min mark in the video. The German squad is firing from the stone building with a height marker in their hex. Would they get the height advantage modifier in that case? I've not played the game yet, read the rules and watching your excellent videos. Thank you!

Excellent videos. This is a suprisingly complex game considering how small the rulebook is.

Stuka Joe, again may I say what professional stream. I have watched several ost v1. Yours is the one that really would make me purchase the game. I am awaiting the release of the new vol1 v2 release and will buy as your 2 streams are brilliant. I look forward to more from you.

Gracias Joe (fellow Puerto Rican gamer here!). Can you please post some information on the magnets you used for the planes?
@StukaJoe Жыл бұрын
Hello, Gabriel. This has been so long ago that I can’t remember the specific magnets I used. My best guess is that they were cilinder-shaped black magnets that stuck to 1/2” square-shaped metal pieces, which served as the aircraft counter’s base. I’ll post the links to the magnets here: Black Metal Cylinder Magnets,Colored Small Pawn Magnets,Tumb Tacks,Perfect as Refrigerator Magnets,Clear Whiteboard,Chalkboard Magnets,Classroom Markerboard,Office Magnets - MapMagnets a.co/d/ihpbO8J As to the half-inch metal base, I didn’t purchase that on Amazon. Those were metal bases used for miniature wargaming. However, you could use round-shaped disc magnets as bases. I have these also and they work great! Here’s the link in Amazon: DIYMAG 15X2MM... www.amazon.com/dp/B07G48647D?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share You stick a cilinder magnet to a disc magnet and place the counter on top. Hope this helps! Cheers!

Hello N.E.H. and SJ, If you had to choose between Old School Tactical and GMTs Panzer, which one would you buy/play/recommend first?
@StukaJoe6 жыл бұрын
I don’t have GMT’s Panzer, but I’ve taken a look at the rules. I believe Panzer is more complex, so, perhaps a grognard will prefer Panzer for its realism. However, for many people who want a simpler game, OST may be just perfect, since it is a more streamlined tactical system.
@NoEnemiesHere6 жыл бұрын
Yes, Panzer has more involved rules once you get past the basic rule set. If I'm not mistaken the rule set is modular in which you can pick and choose rules at your discretion making it as involved and as complex as you want it to be.

At 32.47, I believe that you have the AP & HE firepower labels wrong. HE is the black no. & AP is the red no.

Your right! Can't believe. I do a tutorial to screw things up more! Sorry about that, Clay. I'll place a note in the Comments section.
