CCR doesnt get much better than that ! I started washing truck parts in the gas bucket before I was a teenager.First truck I drove 1965 GMC 5000 V6 351 gas 5&4 tandem dump, also the 401m and 478 V6 gas (7500 & 8500 GMC) ,9500 671 an pt270 cummins dumps,8V71 tractor and a general dump 671-250 hp c65 injectors an advanced cam timeing .Coal hauling R macks and 800 off road (1200X24 tires)macks 300 and 350 125-13 ,65 rears(best setup) 47.5 ton it would pull hell off the hinges. Also IH coal haulers 350 an 400 cummins. Also drove cline(coal) cummins/manuel and euclid 12V71 rock trucks. The best sounding out on the road is probably the 8V71 ,I like the sound of the B macks (without the turbo) also.

There flip flop would get stuck and they'd hurt themselves with Armstrong steering 😊

That’s for damn sure. When I first started driving, I was driving 72 and 73 model Ford 9000s with the two-stroke Detroits, no power steering, no A/C, air powered wipers, with air starters and that warning flag the would drop down and swing in front of your face close to the windshield if your air pressure dropped too low. Not to mention the noise of those old, screaming Detroit motors. These yuppies would never be able to take it. But, us old timers looked forward to climbing up in that cab every day. They were flat out fun to drive. Now I am driving a 2020 model Peterbilt and absolutely hate the son of a bitch. I cuss it every day.

The best place for an 8v71 that I have found is in my 1968 gm pd4107 bus conversion they were slower than all h*lain a freight rig at a max legal weight limit of 73,280 old k100 with a 275 Cummins would out pull an 8v71 any day of the week
