Thanks so much! It was fun exploring the area after not seeing it for a few years. It is pretty incredible how the railroads were built across North America, especially when you consider how long it takes to drive.

Well done your video and history of the area. Super cool to see the old rail line and bridge pictures. The Stanley Cup monument was neat. Lots of neat stuff on your tour of the area. Speaking of Iron Horses, we took one from Skagway to Fraser Canada recently. Awesome they offer rides here too. Fun stuff. Have a wonderful day.

Interesting to see the train station, and it’s neighborhood, and hear about how the buildings have had a variety of uses over the years. Fascinating place and history Donna. I’m sort of assuming it was named after Strathconan in Scotland Love the architecture and the wall art - that Swan at the start is wonderful and the entry arch very beautiful. The town felt like you were in an old Scottish town. Have brilliant weekend Donna
@DonnaTaibossigai5 ай бұрын
Hi Dave & Sue! I think it was named after Donald A. Smith/Lord Strathcona who came over from Scotland and had a long history in Canada's railway and businesses, including co-founding the Cdn Pacific Railway. I'm glad I was able to film the place well enough to capture the history. Hope you two have a wonderful weekend.
