It is almost 15 years back that i started to learn the Melbourne Shuffle. I was 17 years old when i saw this video and i decided to learn this dance. When i was 23 my life take over and i quited dancing. But now i am 32 and when i hear hardstyle or see shuffle my instinct takes over and i start to dance. But im rusty now and i think i have to start over. Do you guyes think that with my age, i can still learn the Melbourne Shuffle and become good in it? This Compilation stayes epic!!!

This is a style of shuffle that i miss! The modern style sucks ass! The old school shuffle is much more "aggresive", they move around much more and use the space around them. The higher the skill of the dancer, the more it looks like they are floating around and it looks so good. This new style looks like a mix with tecktonic or something (and i hate tecktonik!) and it is so ugly! They mostly stand around in one spot, looking like they are trying to do real shuffle, but fail miserably.

I wish this style would come back. All I see now is people not using their space and dragging their feet. The phats look cooler if you use a longer run to shuffle and you smoothly do the glides instead of dragging your foot during the T-step.

Yes thats true some people can't do t steps from both legs the balance needed is too much for the brain so they stick to one side for t step cuz if they do the t step from their other side out of nowhere they fail or stop or get confused what to do next. Unless u work hard on the weaker foot just like in football.
