I reckon it would do great! If i was to do old coach and telle track id put a locker in though so i could tackle the harder bits instead of bypassing 😊

Cheers Nick! We sure do have some incredible tracks and places to explore here. The lux stalled in Logans Crossing which was the one at the start due to water getting on the coils. The next crossing it lost a few cylinders but luckily didnt stall. Other than those 2 occasions it was great!

All in all, a decent conversion then 👍 Need to get mine done, but would still love to get my hands on a Cruiser 😉

Cheers for the support Nick! It has certainly been a worthwhile conversion. The stalling and misfiring I believe was caused by getting the distributors wet. Am currently looking into a stand alone ecu and a coil-on-plug conversion, hopefully this will make everything a little more submersible 😂

@@ashtompkins7887 Cheers mate, glad it was worth it 👍 I've been looking at the coil on plug set up but for the time being I'm gonna use the LS400 auto box (I'm converting my 3 litre Surf) so may have issues setting it up 🤔

@@matthewtaylor1339 I was in the Turbo diesel 80 series cruiser. Ash was in the hilux. Going through Logan's creek the hilux got water in the coils and stalled due to it misfiring. Flooded the whole car. Then going through Nolans Brook it started misfiring but luckily didn't stall. Those are 2 of the deepest crossings, all of the others were fine. You need to be really careful of the ignition system in petrol vehicles when doing river crossings.
