I found a ton of Turkey tails right next to my deer stand and remembered your video. I have 1/2 gallon of tincture going now. We’ve been using honey garlic for about 8 years now. I have some that I made about 6 years ago. It lasts forever! The honey is black, the garlic is gone… but the honey makes a WONDERFUL drizzle on Asian chicken! Mullein tea got rid of a 3 year cough in my son. He drank it for about a week. It’s been gone for about 7 years. FYI: medicinal’s work because they are dewormers. Parasites (flukes, worms, etc) are the cause of most issues. Clot clot was a parasite cause by the shot shot. Thyroid issues are thread worms. You know what kills threadworms? Iodine…. And iver. I

We’ve been making the honey garlic (without red pepper) for a couple years since seeing a video from Doug and Stacey. The only thing I do differently is to cut the cloves into about 3 pieces and let it sit for about 10 minutes so that it starts to release the Allicin which is the healing part of the garlic. It’s worked amazingly for us and our 3 kids.

My dad used to make 4 thieves and something he called bug juice. He also made this concoction to help my mom (A Major stroke patient) something made with skull cap. It helped her to not "Thump" her leg in her sleep. Their Doctor approved all of this stuff and even asked my dad what it all was so maybe it would help some of his other patients. Unfortunately I lost both of them a little over a year ago.They never got any jabs and both lived well into their 80's.

I thought the germinal disc was in all fertile eggs, but if the egg was fertilized it had a bullseye around the disc.
@betty817329 күн бұрын
Thanks, Zach, great video, thanks for naming that white dot.
@regencylassАй бұрын
Germinal discs are present in both fertile and unfertilized eggs. An egg with a solid white dot has not been fertilized. However if it has a ring, like a bullseye, then it has been fertilized.
@juliabrown5948Ай бұрын
Yes I have no rooster anywhere around my farm for over 6 months and my eggs still have the white dot... I asked on a homestead group and learned about the bullseye
@jamesrose8660Ай бұрын
Zac, the email is partially correct. The germinal disc is where fertilization takes place and is present on all chicken eggs not just fertile ones. This is from Kansas State University. Have you noticed a white spot on fresh egg yolks? That is a germinal disc. It is an indication if the egg is fertile or not. A non-fertile germ spot will look solid white because it contains the female’s cells only. A fertile germ spot will have a somewhat clear center. A rooster must be present with the hens for an egg to be fertilized. At egg farms where eggs are produced for human consumption, roosters are not present. Therefore the eggs you buy at grocery stores are non-fertile. And from Penn State Extension; The non-fertile germ spot contains only the female's cells and looks like a solid white spot. In a fertile egg the germ spot contains both the female and male cells. This allows cells to divide and the spot grows while the rest of the egg is being built in the female's oviduct. Because of this growth the fertile germ spot on the yolk looks like a circle with a somewhat clear center. That dude was completely off base about chalaza, which just holds the yolk in the center of the egg.
@AnamericanhomesteadАй бұрын
Yes the fertilized ones will have more of a bullseye look to them 🎯 I guess I could have been more specific.

@5dragonflies1Күн бұрын
You'll want to only use dried leaves for tinctures. Fresh will water down the alcohol and possibly allow mold to grow. Doesn't have to be a spring plant. But roots are best harvested the fall of the 1st yr or spring of the 2nd yr plant. Once the 2nd yr plant sends up the flowering stalk, all it's root energy goes up to the seeds with it.

After using a tablespoon of honey in my coffee one winter to kill off strep before it got a good foothold, I now have a tbsp of honey in my first coffee every morning as a preventive - no strep since! When I do get a "flu", I just curl up in bed or on the couch and let the fever run. I've only had this twice in recent history, though: late winter 2018, and it came and went within twelve hours (my body hit 107° at the peak, where it held for a half hour then crashed), and again this past summer around when the forestry companies were spraying their woodlots with glyphosate (I lost one day to fever in bed, but general malaise lingered for about two weeks). I have a "magic soup" recipe that i used to use that always worked well, but yeah, now i just let the fever do its thing ;)

@juliabrown5948Ай бұрын
And yes, you still want the alcohol taste and smell because otherwise your alcohol would have evaporated! What you are doing is dissolving the alcohol soluble compounds in the herbal material. The alcohol is what has become medicinal. If you don't like taking it, though remember you aren't doing shots it's just a few drops or at most a teaspoon, you could use vegetable glycerin instead. It works about 80 percent as well
