old tool box functional restoration - Boris!

picked up this sweet toolbox from the local auction house and is it I doosey. I love the radiused corners, petina and substantial latches. it gives the toolbox a feel like it's from the game fallout

I think that was originally a fishing tackle box. The slots in the trays were for dividers to keep hooks, etc from tangling. Great video, nice restoration.

What are those silver things on either ends of the box?

I am pretty sure they are used for connecting it to another box that would be a base for it.
