Nice video. Not to worry about the reel if you have a sealed reel. I've never rinsed my Penn Spinfisher off and I've dropped it, dunked it and splashed it for over 9 years. For non-sealed reels great tip to rinse immediately.

Yeah good point. That one is Penn Fierce 3 and I believe it’s sealed or at least sealed ball bearings. It’s been holding up great though.

I never got used to mine. Combating the wind in such a small “boat” took the enjoyment out. Went back to the jon boat. Looking forward to seeing you find a solution. Play the wind!

Very cool video, congrats on the purchase, seems like a good kayak and very stable. Is the motor pretty well hidden so if you just happen to be on the water without the boat being registered and the FWC comes around they couldn't tell its electric powered ?

Yeah, it’s extremely hidden. I did register mine but I didn’t the first month I never got stopped and haven’t been stopped once.

Absolutely love this. Me and my boys love watching them. My littlest thinks it’s funny when you tell the fish see ya later buddy. Also I don’t have much on the kayak but just a suggestion, seems like your footage is a little foggy on the sides. They make anti fog inserts for the housing of your GoPro, Im just assuming that’s what you’re using. Keep it up love the videos man.
