Me either! I have been following about many abandoned places in Japan thru blogs and they are all facsinating (well, except some of the heavily vandalized places).

Visually informative as always. Looks like quite a bit of filling-in after abandonment as portions of the right-of-way took on a rails-to-nature-trails status. Thank you for putting this together, it is much appreciated.
Excellent video study of of an abandoned section of the Chuo Main Line which existed between 1902-1968. Jitensya37, make sure you take a friend when you take these video shoots in the woods, as if something unexpected happens, you do not want to find yourself in an impossible situation you cannot resolve on your own. e.g., a fall or a heart attack.
With so many great videos and all the research that goes with it. Would You say infrastructure in Japan especially in rural areas is expanding/updated or rather diminish with time? Also do You know any good sources, including governmental, about underground rivers in Tokyo?
