The battery is hold by a plastic strip which should be compatible with a modern stampede. Technically the modern stampede should be compatible with that one. Parts are still around to get this bad boy running. Great video!

Wow, awesome find. Probably a 12T in there. And for the battery i think it takes a plastic bar that goes across. These things are sooooo much fun. Bought one for my wife but i took it over lol. All you need is new motor esc and a servo and you’ll be havin a blast!! Enjoy bro..
