Couldn't agree more. This series channels something truly unique about the inventiveness of the human spirit. I know these episodes are few and far between, but that appears to be because CT selects only those projects that are truly awe inspiring. I'll happily wait as long as it takes for the next DIY masterpiece.

I am fortunate to have had a neighbor who also did this...built a Western town on his 50 Calif. acres. I was out riding my black Arab through the apple orchard in bloom. George Smith was a movie scout & bought up many stage pieces. He gradually built a Western town with stuff from known actors's props. Will Rogers famous lariat. EVERY Nat'l. Geographic ever printed, as well as every license plate ever made for this state....he had that next to the barber shop of 1850s. The grand hotel, 2 stories high with authentic 'stuff' to decorate. Many famous actors. Many famous people visited his scheduled tours. Carriages. Gear and tack. Two blocks' worth of offices; hitching posts...THAT is what I rode into that day. Incredible!!! What a strange Feeling!!! I wondered: "Wow! Where did all the townsfolk go? Doors open, hitching posts inviting. Who did this?" George is gone now. He never quite got around to building his 12-guage railroad through Georgetown .... I tell you this because Mr. White did it....and WOW...did it amaze anyone who got to see it!!! George gave tours to local school kids; hosted weddings and vintage car clubs and more. He was just as happy to share his stories with neighbors. I tell you this because Mr. White did the same: telling the old tales; offering the history of the Old West; letting us Experience what it may have been like to LIVE in that time. FASCINATING!
