Last time I walked up to the glow worm tunnels was mid winter and it was a warm sticky climb then. I can only imagine how it felt for you. Having said that, I also know better then to walk the mountains in summer!

The riding is nothing amazing but the tunnel is absolutely worth the visit. Maybe just check the weather first, you know, to avoid... DRAMA!! 😜

Surprisingly ok. Obviously not as good as a proper road tyre, but fairly solid grip.

I drove, if anybody can remember, a Ford Landau 351 to the glow worm tunnel in the early 80's, we knew of the glow worm tunnel, lost city and Newnes afforestation prison camp, so desolate back then there were now fences too keep prisoners in, nature was the only security they needed
