Classic JAGUARS & MORE | Which is YOUR favourite era of Jaguar XJ saloon?

In today's Old Classic Car video we scrape the ice off the 2002 Jaguar XJ8 then head out to a freezing meet up with other old-car enthusiasts at the Aqueduct Marina near Church Minshull, in Cheshire. En route we caught up with dad in his XJ6 (X350 type), and our duo of Jaguar XJs was joined by a smart example of the earlier Jaguar XJ6 Series 3, in 4.2 litre straight-six guise. It was neat to see three generations of XJ saloon parked alongside each other, enabling comparisons in styling to be made across the eras - maybe one day a Jaguar XJ40 will also turn up, and perhaps a Series 1 or 2?
There weren't a huge number of classic cars out and about for this one, but it was an enjoyable morning out and a good opportunity to talk cars for a couple of hours with like-minded old-car fans.
