That red plate is New Martinsville, Janice pattern, 1926-1944, and fairly rare in Ruby. The bowl looks like Viking.

Fun video. Enjoyed watching you take the art out of the frames and seeing details of the work. The Japanese? Painting is so well done. Love it.

That Anna Mayer little girl illustration sure looks like an illustration style used on early postcards. They produced a lot of cards with humor surrounding children, romance, courtship, and a lot of stills from funny silent movie scenes. Cops and the old town drunk were targets. Those experiencing fatherhood were good subjects also.

The cherry Tree warter color is absolutely beautiful. The Little Girl who lost her bloomers reminds me of something Norman Rockwell would have done. Please Stay Safe Happy and Healthy Have A Wonderful Day

Scott, some of those silver overlay or gold wedding anniversary pieces had shield shaped paper labels with Rockwell on them. The Rockwell Silver Company has been decorating glass and China with silver deposits since 1907. That pattern with the poppies was called ‘Flanders’. Poppies are the flowers symbolizing remembrance.

I was going to suggest that you should have stayed home in your smoking jacket, sipping a snifter of brandy in front of the fire, but I think perhaps you did. I desperately need the Pyrex pie dish and holder for my pecan pie at Thanksgiving. Also my lattice top cherry. My favorite Japanese vocalist of the thirties is Betty Inada, and her versions of Happy Day Are Here Again, and Take a Number From One to Ten are favorites, and here on KZbin. A bit of work to find, since the channels are in Japanese, but worth the search. Her story is an interesting one. I think you should keep the charming little watercolor, I'm a great believer in lots of art on the walls, and little pieces come in handy in groupings. Great fun, Scott, you brightened old Bix's night!
