I'm a fan of Liberace, have several records and videos. Got to see him in Vegas one year! And was one of the fortunate ones to have been to the Museum!---Growing up in North Dakota, we lived not far from Lawrence Welk's farm, so watching the show each week was a staple in our household! One year, my Mom and I were driving back to California, and made a side trip to the Welk farm...wonderful! Finding anything Welk is tough, and pricey when I do.

I want to go to a thrift shop like THAT! It reminds me of picking in an estate sale basement, which is my favorite. Indianapolis doesn't have the thrift bounty that Philadelphia has, that's for sure.

You’re great at knowing what decade pieces are. The orange pitcher and glasses l received at wedding shower,July 1974. You should come over, we still ride horses lol. I love seeing snow, l live HOUSTON, TEXAS. I 66 years old and I’ve seen snow about 3 times it lasts about 8 hours. It makes the news here. Love your show.

Love your ride alongs; both fun and informative, too! Today I learned about batter pitchers. We 'older' folks also appreciate it when you move...very...slowly down the aisles, so we can see everything without pausing. Just found a ceramic Christmas tree at a charity shop, but this one had a cabin with chimney attached. I'm guessing it's from the 1970's or 1980's. Pyrex; who knew, LOL! TFS.

I should research the value of my set of Tupperware's first micro and oven safe cookware. I won it when I was a Tupperware rep back in the very early 80s. Two 1-qt and one 2-qt casseroles with lids plus plastic storage tops and it cleans up like a charm even after all these years. LOVE that sofa and that MCM dining set. The sofa reminds me of the one my grandmother had in her dining room though hers was a dusty pink kind of color. When my sister and I were very young, we would be laid down on it to sleep while our parents and grandparents played cards on a Friday night. Haven't thought of that in YEARS!

Howdy, from Texas again! Thanks for the shout out, Scott. Pork chop? More like T-bones from Texas! The reason youngsters are buying the orange juice sets is because they remember them in the "Growing Pains" kitchen. I liked the midcentury textured vase. Even though it's not marked (a lot of mine aren't) it's midcentury. Probably from a California Pottery company.

haha I am a hoarder of Pyrex, my attic is full of it. I use some of it, decorate my kitchen with some of it and the rest just sits. I started collecting before Pyrex was a "thing" because I loved the colours. I think I paid less than $4 for most pieces. I stopped collecting about 15 years ago but there are still a few red pieces I want to buy. I know nothing about selling on ebay or Etsy or I would be selling some of the stuff now. Besides all the coloured pieces I have many coffee carafes and clear cookware dating back when the pieces were made with arsenic. I even have an old Pyrex labeled vacuum coffee maker. haha I better get a guard for my house now that Pyrex has made the news!

So you heard me scream..."Look at the PINK TIMER!!!" LOL I think ppl buy their childhood, don't you? This last generation does not appreciate the Depression Glass that our grandparents and parents had. This is fun, sorry we slowed you down, though! And later on, that pink sofa...reminded me of my mom's great purchase in 1957 or so...a pink couch and chair with metallic thread that ran through it, with a suite of two blonde end tables and a coffee table. She LOVED that furniture. AND then, we had a great aunt who gifted us with a fruit cake each year. I didn't realize it was probably from Sears, but that makes sense. She was a good customer. Fun video, Scott. Keep on thrifting.
