Awesome video. I N the spirit of Christmas we took in a young tuxedo cat. She was always out in the wind and the rain, probably is pregnant. We named her Mary or Merry, which she isn't. She can't replace Nathaniel but it was the right thing to do.

One of the things I enjoy so much about your channel, is that I am proud First Generation American, born in Milwaukee, WI. My parents are German ( Mama) and Polish (Papa) immigrants, landing on Ellis Island in 1956 off a cargo ship! Your occasional German references touch my heart. Pfefferkuchen, almond Spekulatius (which you didn’t mention but are my favorite). Ich vermute, dass Sie such Deutsch sprechen. 😉

Back in the 1980's the malls had stores called Knott's Berry Farm stores. They had wonderful antique decorations along with their Knott's Berry farm wares. They always had hoosiers filled with goodies. I went to an auction and bought my hoosier for about $800 back then. I have enjoyed it ever since. I love that green one but I can't believe the low price!

Where are you!!!!....the clock room was a delight...could almost smell the old wood and polish....pink lamp is a steal...love the cream and green tin tub.... In the mid sixties everybody had the silver tree.... but us......I begged for one but my Mom was a traditionalist and kept with the cut tree...so glad really because the smell brings back many memories...In the late 60’s early 70’s they started promoting the “Plantation Tree” which was the tree farm trees you see today, but back then they were expensive cut trees and a beautiful addition. We did have those....sometimes flocked....Then in the late 70’s “all natural” came in and we bought several “Living trees”...that actually grew thru the later years...Scott you are a gem...for bringing all these memories back to us....

So many awesome finds there, Scott! The plastic Santa on skis was originally a candy container made by Rosbro. The company also sold the empty containers to other companies like Miller Electric who then added lighting and sold them under their name. I have the snowman version as a light with the original box. Hope you have a merry Christmas, Scott!

Oh lawd yes, we have cactus. There are cactus in the Texas desert and hill country that make spikes big enough and strong enough to puncture the tire of a car. There is really only one fact to remember when in the Texas wilderness.. everything can kill you so be careful. If it doesn't have spikes, claws, or teeth, it's probably got a gun...or all of the above :D Btw, the pink elephant shaker set was awesome..I would have bought that..

Hey, I have that pig in the outhouse at 9:13... I don't know why I have it? I just thought it was different, so I bought it, and I have never seen another like it until now, cost me a $1.00.. I could never find it online, or in a book anywhere.. so he's just hanging out in my 1920s hutch, all by his little piggy peeing self.. amongst the art deco Lalique and Sabino..lol.. No crush on Pat Boone, but still to this day, Sam Elliot, and Sean Connery..

Snoopy's brother Spike decorates a cactus with a string of colored lights for Christmas. according to wikipedia: "Spike lives alone in a cactus, in the middle of the desert near Needles, California, only occasionally interacting with the principal characters in the strip, generally in visiting Snoopy. His friends are mostly inanimate saguaro cacti and an occasional tumbleweed."

I am stunned by that clock section. Never seen so many clocks in one single shop. It is kind of scary in a way, the dark sleeping room furniture surrounded by all those clocks... maybe they are not all ticking simultaneously, not all of them right? as it would demand daily care, maybe from a very creepy creature going around with a huge bundle of clock keys in its pocket setting keys in each and every clock in that shop.... oh my...
