Older cabinet restoration. Old to old...

It's a pleasure to watch someone doing this sort of work in a hands on basic way. This type of furniture was made in a crude and simple way for a purpose. There was no place for fancy twirls carvings and mouldings. They needed functional furniture. Resoration therefore doesn't warrant or need anything more complex or perfect and smooth as the piece when it was made. Its a real pleasure to see these simple farm house furniture pieces respected for what they are and gently restored . Furniture and life doesn't need micrometer perfection and a false glossy finish.

What I like about this is now you didn't go overboard trying to glam it up. It's a little, utilitarian cabinet that would be used just about anywhere in the house. It's attractive, sturdy and ready to serve for many more years. Love it. Also love your beautiful tuxedo cat.

Muito obrigado 😊 Mesmo que a cola não tenha sido usada antes, ela definitivamente deve ser usada na remontagem. Não cria dificuldades para restaurações posteriores, pelo contrário, é muito mais fácil remover o adesivo por aquecimento; Então pelo menos é o que eu penso 😁
