I'm about to turn 69 and I'm in better shape than I've been in a long time. of course I'm not without my little health concerns etc, but I'm alive and well and I still have (most of ) my marbles mentally. To sum up, being old is not so bad. I strongly support your message about "putting the love around".

the thing about age is it takes taking care of yourself to be beautiful as you age, what a lot of older men and women don't necessarily do, beauty when your young is given, beauty when your old is earned and rarer, hence why it's probably much more appreciated, coveted, admired, etc.

Here here, Davey! I think we're too obessed with youth overall. Granted, we in this time period are not unique in that regard. Hell, even Shakespeare wrote sonnets praising the glories and beauty of youth, but he also included in virtually all of those sonnets that beauty and youth are fleeting. Short story: everyone gets old, so why should we feel crappy, embarrassed, or self-conscious about it? This goes double for women! Holy crap, talk about a group targeted by ageism!

Just so you know, grey hairs can be caused by medicine and stress or even genetics, it doesn't make you old. My dad has a lot of heart problems and because of all the medicine he has to take it turned his hair grey (now snow white) So don't feel bad about aging, even though there is nothing wrong with it, it does not mean you're getting old.

I have to say that I'm much happier, way more fit, and more confident at my current age than I was at 18, 21, or 25. And gray hair is hot, look at Anderson Cooper. Dude pulls off the silver fox look!

I don't find growing old is a problem just growing UGLY. I'm 27 and have about 5% grey. I refuse to dye my hair because I want to accept old age sooner rather then later. That way old age can't hurt me when I get there. The ones who judge are very young. Don't worry youthful beauties like the rest us, one day you'll get there. That's not a curse just a warning.

I'm 23, gay and already something like 25% going on 30% grey O_o... mental. I have jet black hair so it's not something I can hide. Although luckily I'm not going bald or having any grey pubes. So all I need to work on is making my grey hair look awesome and find a decent haircut and i'm sorted!

Grey is Grrrreaat! Grey symbolizes stability, respect and wisdom! Small amounts of grey suggest solidity, like, "solid as a rock" (or, 'rock hard', maybe?). Dating older men, in my opinion, tends to be far superior to dating guys my own age (22). I could list all the pros, but I wouldn't have enough space in the comment box. I always get weird looks when I tell people how old the person is I'm dating, but I've grown used to it, and I know that their ignorance is the only thing standing between them and their own silver fox =)
