@@RuneKatashima The fact Harstem chose all the wrong moves when he was 100% ahead was definitely disappointing. It's like he was thinking of all these different possibilities when it was very clear the zerg had nearly 0 drones. You can't build 20 zerglings, have a proxy hatch, and two spore crawlers, and have good drone count harstem. ffs

The big mistake was not closing the wall before the hatch kill, it would have been important even if he wanted to attack the structures and not the main.

going tempest is an effective way to be winning games. When you win, you can't finish for a long time, and when you lose its over quick. MMR guarantees a 50% winrate in the long run, but with tempest most of your playing time will be winning, but unable to finish.

I've always wondered why people don't build "proxy" bases, and this shows how useful it is. Well played.

Because it loses mining time and delays the expansion in many cases. The base also becomes more vulnerable to attack, especially in the long run. Essentially, it is done sometimes, but it's a cheese because it's not good in a macro game.

When I saw the hatch go down I thought it was fine, but after it got up I realized you didn't end up putting that pylon in the 4x4 space left open and I realized what was going to happen to you. I was further upset you didn't make an effort to block their exit either. It's too many lings for just two cannons lmao. They could lose 6 and it wouldn't matter.
