In retrospect, the Big Mac order took slightly longer than a typical McDonald’s, but I’d have to admit…although very very slight, the quality and care of the food was a slight higher notch than most locations. Not that I’d go out of my way to go here, but it was a very cool experience to go to a historic restaurant here in Southern California.

Mark Knopfler while he's actually from London England did a song about Ray Kroc's acquisition of McDonald's. The song is called "Boom Like That" I believe it was on his Shangri-la album.

Your knowledge of the history of McDonald’s is very spotty. And some of your facts are twisted. I would suggest Phil Landon’s book, “Orange Roofs and Golden Arches” if you really have the interest in McDonald’s history. I would have liked to see the kitchen on this original McDonald's and compare it to one of the old ones from the 50s rather than watching you eat.

Well I guess this young presenter was around in 1984?..humm.. Maybe he will become The new Huell Howser. I was told it had a basement. When they rebuilding it they found recluse spiders down there.
