It has taken me a couple of years to get up the courage, but now I’ve done it and they are pretty and so different. Sun Dragon Ranunculus advice here on KZbin was invaluable. Hi Marie, You finally are on the Ranunculus train! I am currently working on a short sleeve version in Purl Soho's Linen Quill. I'm using the recommended needle size and it is a loose open fabric which will be perfect to wear over sleeveless sundresses or tank tops. Happy knitting!

I've made the Ranunculus twice. Completely agree with how fast it knits up. I have yarn allocated for 2 more. After seeing yours in the dark grey, I might make each of my daughters one for Christmas. Just wish there was a men's pattern that knit up as fast so I can also make something for my son.

Hello and thank you for watching! If you are new to sweater knitting I would highly recommend a basic raglan sweater first! There are many patterns out there. The ranunculus is not by any means hard, but I would do a basic sweater first to get your feet wet!
