Your cardigan is beautiful!❤. What a great re-cap of the retreat 😊. The sweater is “Maailman synty”by Jenna K The pattern can be found in the Knitted Kalevala book by Jenna Kostet published in 2022 by Laine Publishing (in case anyone is wondering). It was SO funny to see the pictures of everyone wearing it and so amazing that it looked great on every single person! Such a wonderful time! A great bunch of women❤ mary

"And my friend Judy wouldn't stop asking me, where's Zeke? Are you ever going to finish Zeke? And how about your blanket? She shamed me into it." LOL I'm dying with laughter!!!!! Great job on both!!! Full disclosure, my Pajama Cardigan 2.o #2 is still unfinished! Can't wait to see your Love Note! I'm planning to knit one without the lace.💕💕💕xoxo Judy

The cardigan! It looks so perfect. I'm so happy it's at home in your wardrobe now! Those sweater photos had me chuckling, remembering how we were scuttling around trying to surprise her with it. Oh my goodness, it was so good!

About your tight I-cords... I think I have seems some tutorials about how to get them looser. It might have been fro mm Andrea Mowry in one of her chats, but I think it was Stephen West. I'll see if I can find it. But I think it was something about adding an extra 'round' or 'repeat' occasionally just on the I-cord stitches as you go along. Thank you for making a podcast. I get such inspiration and dream knitting ideas from watching all of you. (I live in New Brunswick, so I know a lot of the other testers for Nancy's socks). Happy Knitting.

kzbin.info/www/bejne/lXTQn4WPjseKaLcfeature=shared This is a technique that Stephen West uses. I have not tried it, so I can't give a proper recommendation. Maybe it would work for you. Because, dang, an icord edge is so polished looking.

In regard to the Traveler cowl and the I-cord edge. Maybe you could try knitting the cowl without the I-cord edge and just add it on after the cowl is finished. Maybe it would have more stretch that way. You might try making a couple of swatches (one with the I-cord edge and one added afterwards) to see if it the "added" I-Cord gives more stretch before making the whole cowl. Just some thoughts.

Yes I may do that!! I appreciate the suggestions for sure! Thanks for watching!

Hi Marie! Enjoy your podcast so much…🙂🧶..I am so intrigued about your retreat you helped host. I live in central Indiana and want to find the podcaster who attended the retreat with you and the other ladies. I can’t seem to find her on KZbin. Can you please tell me the name of her channel again? I tried to find it in your content info from your podcast and that failed me also..🥴… thanks again and happy knitting!

You can find her by clicking the link in the description box below my video. She is Knitting Through (previously Capital K knitting). Try searching if the link won't work for you!
