I don't think it was intentional, but the way the animals on your shirt line up with the bowl, it makes it seem like they're looking right at it. :)

You can reverse the Gifford grip pads and have pressure from the inside to glaze the exterior with an even flow from the hake brush. Less chance of dropping the bowl.

Thanks for another great video. I had a quick question about your kiln. My kiln was originally from Europe and has the hole in the lid just like yours! It is not something I see here in Canada very often. I have having trouble with my kiln firing cold on the top shelves (after a variety of tracking and strategies). I was wondering... do you plug your the whole in the top of yours at all during firing?
@kimoconnor73944 жыл бұрын
Thanks. That is how I have been treating it as well. I am having a lot of trouble getting the top shelve to fire to temperature without overfiring the bottom shelves. Thanks for the reply!

Really fun design! I've ordered the Russian doll batt system. I wondered if you've ever thought about doing a kiln firing explanation video. I don't have a kiln yet and the only experience I have with one is through watching the technician at university. I need to buy a kiln and I know I'll find it a bit scary to use at first.
@darbarrow12034 жыл бұрын
If it helps.....I bought an electric kiln from eBay and gained advice from Facebook groups and its really helped. 3 firings so far, the first two were successes and the 3rd less successful but i learned a lot (and I’m still learning)!
