Former Record Producer Hears Billie Eilish - Khalid - lovely - Old Guy Reaction

You old guys may not know this, but Billie and Khalid were fans of each other years before they knew or met in person. When Khalid hit it big and moved to LA, they started jamming in her brother's small home studio. The result is this collab that sounds so natural. Legend has it not a single old guy was involved in the making of this masterpiece. 😊

The only people involved in this song were Billie Eilish Finneas and Khalid but they did not know each other for years they knew each other for a few months before but Billie heard one of his songs looked him up and realized that he was following her already so she DM’d him and she started talking to him before he even moved to LA and said hey if and when you move to LA hit me up and we can hang out and you can come over to my house they didn’t even plan to record together and then while they were at the house he heard Finneas in his room playing around with some songs and different beats and said is he working on his own music and she said no he’s just playing around do you want to go in there so he went in there and then they all ended up writing a song together she talked about it in an interview shortly after that

There are a couple of live performances of Silk Sonic you may have missed. Check out the Billboard Awards for their rendition of Con Funk Shun's 1982 R & B hit, 'Love's Train'. They opened the Grammy Awards with '777', which was appropriate since the show was in Vegas for the first time.

If I understand what she said about this song, yes, it can be used for whatever makes you feel trapped in your life. But for her it was about anxiety and depression. The descriptive lyrics including "tear me to pieces, skin a bone, welcome home" is her anxiety and depression flooding back into her thoughts. In an odd way it's her comfort zone since that's what she's used to.
