I used to live in Dobcross, born in Oldham 1950, went to Uppermill Scool. Resident of NZ now, so glad I experienced that time and place.

Love these guys! Our primary school teacher took us to see them in 1972 or 3...my very first concert. Thanks John Dearn if you're out there still!

What an absolutely beautiful song that is (and, I must say beautiully performed). I sit here, in my home in Greece, with a tear in my eye (Aye?.... aye!). I am originally from Oldham, and have seen these lads several times performing throughout the borough. As they say, you can take the lad out of Oldham etc... etc.
