Seeing children being introduced to slingshots is amazing, yet Dennis the Menace made it popular for kids in the 1950's, but it's been around 60 years and now slingshots are mostly an older person's sport, so ironically it is refreshing to see kids keeping it alive. I am 54 in 2023 and a newbie. I am addicted and it's good for the heart, mind, body, and soul. I love how serious looking the kids are.

This was instructive. I was watching the fork hand of the various shooters. The young man that hit 9 out 10 early on, had very little movement in his forward hand when he let fly. I also noticed head shaking after a shot with the forks canted. The top fork was farther forward. Great video, thanks much!

Would like to enter competition one day ? Not sure how to enter but would give alot of people a run for there money ' also love the videos john and the fact you are GB finest and a few others also just wish I could join that group of shooters' also massive thumbs up to all youre posts and thank you for giving me the inspirational feeling again from being young having a slingshot to owning one again' my wife is cursing me right now but she also k owe im good at it ! Well, as long as there are shop classes at HS it isn't that dire - drop them a couple templates for slingshots, targets and backstops. If done right slingshot shooting got the same beneficiary effects in education as archery at a fraction of the cost. And that should cut it with any school board still no matter how libertard they might be, hack it can be sold to such as an egalitarian sport even.

I wish I lived in the UK. Slingshots just get you laughed at in US. Everybody thinks if it's not a gun it's not worth shooting. They cant grasp the concept that 1 should not be a replacement for the other, but rather, can both be used for their own different purposes 🙁
