Good job. I watched the first one and loved it. Being an archer you have to keep your anchor point consistent and learn from there.

As a newbie to using a Slingshot which Slingshot would you recommend that I buy please? I did buy one last year but the square band snapped after just a few uses. So I obviously would like to buy one with a strong reliable band. Thank you for your Videos. JOHN

What slingshot would you recommend for someone interested in catapult shooting?
@Nazareth4342 жыл бұрын
The key is concentrating on slow release. It's kinda like yanking the trigger on a gun, the faster you pull the trigger, the more apt you are to miss the shot. Seferal,things to think of when shooting sling- hold eleastic parallel with top of sling, pouch needs to be even elastic bands need to be even, and the release needs to be smooth and even. If you forget one step, the shot will be off target, possibly,hitting thumb or finger or fork. The release though seems to be quite critical (as do the other two factors mentioned) You need to learn to let both thumb and index to let go evenly. That takes practice and deliberate concentration in the beginning.

Great vid John 👌🏼 I cut my pouch now just long enuf for it to close after the ammos loaded but but I keep my grip rite in front of the ball, thumb up for ttf, and are not much wider than the ammo I’m using enuf to cover the ball tho, but this is a big prob with a lot of shooters 👍🏻

This is where I am messing up, finding it all so unnatural for some reason. Only new to the sport but it’s starting to bug me. Shooting high at only 15feet or so. Great videos, as with everything new practice is key.

I would like to learn you way,to squeeze the pouch in front of the lead ball,because when you are maxed out with your double bands,it can be tricky to hold it tight over the longer period of time

My question is my front hand that hold the slingshot should my hand point towards the target after i release or should i keep it straight up and down or what it seems like every single time i shoot i seem to shoot it different bc i cant get comfortable shooting it at all

I was wondering if a rusty ball is better because it would create small dimples like a golf ball? If you look at golf ball dimples on google it says it makes the ball travel significantly further. Maybe you could do some tests to prove/ disprove my theory.

Hey John! I’m a huge fan of you’re catapults. I’m really wanting to buy a PPMG Plus, but unfortunately I’m from the US, and shipping from ProShot to me would be around 18 US Dollars. So I was wondering if you could give me a discounted or free shipping code to use at ProShot Catapults. Any help is appreciated! Cheers!

@Zerpersande Жыл бұрын
I’ve been using my thumb and middle finger. It started bc when I loaded the pouch with one hand the grip happened naturally. Now when I bring the pouch to my reference point there are three points of contact…middle finger under my lip, middle knuckle of thumb at corner of my mouth and index finger on nose.
